Mine looks like hell. It's all orangy flaking plastic and it's falling apart. Does any company make Stainless Steel or Aluminum ones or something?

Yep, saw lots in regular auto shops like Autozone, Kragen, Pep boys, etc...Even saw fancy tie downs in an auto parts swap meet, those were so "dress up"
hehehe!

Mine used to look like that.
All i did was peal the plastic coating off sand it down, prime it and painted it white. looks awesome now!

Is there Metal under that plastic? I replaced my battery months ago and haven't even really looked at that thing since then.

I did the same thing too. Peeled off the plastic coating and sanded it down, primed it, and painted it flat black.
